About the Journal
JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) is a scientific journal that is managed by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, and published by Universitas Negeri Surabaya in collaboration with Perkumpulan Pendidik IPA Indonesia (PPII). JPPIPA is published periodically (twice a year) in June and December.
JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) publishes articles from empirical studies (experiment papers) and literature review papers. Scope of JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) is articles in the field of natural science education and science including:
- Innovation of natural science Learning;
- Assessment and evaluation in natural science learning;
- Media of natural science learning;
- Conceptions and misconceptions in natural science learning;
- Natural science learning philosophy and curriculum; and
- Psychology in natural science education.
- Philosophy and theory of nature sciences, physics, biology, biophysics, chemistry, and earth sciences.
Based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 177/E/KPT/2024 concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period II of 2024 dated October 15, 2024, JPPIPA (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA) was decided “Reaccreditation remains at Rank 4 (SINTA 4) from Volume 8 Number 1 of 2023 to Volume 12 Number 2 of 2027.”
